The fifth season of Stranger Things will premiere in 2025.
Netflix released a teaser for the fifth season of Stranger Things, without new scenes but revealing all episode titles and confirming the 2025 premiere. The first episode, already known, is titled “The Crawl.” However, the second episode’s title is partially blurred: “The Vanishing of _____.” This title references the series’ debut episode, “The Vanishing of Will Byers,” suggesting that Will will play a significant role in the story’s conclusion.
The fifth season will have eight episodes, with the following titles:
The Crawl
The Vanishing of _____
The Turnbow Trap
Sorcerer
Shock Jock
Escape From Camazotz
The Bridge
The Rightside Up
This episode count aligns with previous seasons, and the episodes may be lengthy, as in season four. The premiere is confirmed for 2025, with production starting in January after the writers' and actors' strikes. Actress Millie Bobby Brown estimated nine months of filming, suggesting a mid-2025 release.
A slogan revealed in the teaser reads: “In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins.” Additionally, Linda Hamilton from Terminator has been confirmed to join the cast, and behind-the-scenes images were shared by the Duffer brothers.
